Bai Mudan (Chinese: 白牡丹; pinyin: bái mǔdān; literally: “white peony“, pronounced [pǎi mù.tán]) The famous Bai Mu Dan tea belongs to white teas. Another name for tea is White Peony. Imagine a fragrant cup of a delicious drink in front of you, which emanates such an aroma that you just want to take off!


It grows in Fujian province, high in the mountains of Wuy. Tea production is concentrated in Fuding County and Nanping City District. The history of the emergence of this tea goes into the distant period of the Ming dynasty. But commercial production of tea began only in the era of Qing (1796).
